“Mirror Image” Memorial Award
Open to all IHA members riding in the Introductory, Beginner Horse and
Beginner Rider divisions only. Members MUST ride in all three shows to
be eligible. (You must be a member prior to the first show). For each
member, the one highest score will be taken from any of the 3 divisions
at each show. Three high scores for each member (one from each show)
will be averaged.
The high score average will win a portrait painting of their equine partner by
Bernice Corbin. This award is donated by the Albano Family and Twin Bay Farm in
loving memory of Toad Butt (the eternal beginner horse!) for 20 years of love,
laughs and friendship.

Awards
1. The Rider must be a member of the Islip Horsemen’s Assn. prior to the first class
of the first show in which the scores are to count.
2. To qualify Horse and Rider must have four (or more) scores from two different
judges within the division during the series. The four highest scores will be averaged
see IHA Rules & Regulations for further information.
3. Dressage scores earned in the Beginner Horse or Beginner Rider classes will
count for separate high scores awards and are not combined with other scores for
riders level.
4. All conflicts will be settled by the binding decision of the Dressage Committee.
6. All classes will be pointed for year end awards. Please see IHA rules and
regulations for further info on year end awards.
Note: The committee under the direction of the Executive Board reserves the right to
revise these requirements as warranted or in the event of an alterations to the
projective show schedule. In additions, the committee under the direction of the
Executive Board reserves the right to examine original test and results at their
discretion.
